The EPOCA blog changes strategy, introduces new pricing scheme

Since its inception, in 2006, this blog provides information free of charge to the community. This strategy was continued when EPOCA took over and also when SOLAS and IMBER endorsed it. The EPOCA Project Office will now change strategy and include a freemium offer as from 1st April 2011.

  • Access to the titles of the stories will remain free of charge to fulfill our commitment to openness and dissemination.
  • Access to the actual stories will require payment: pay as you go (1 € per story) or unlimited access by subscription (5 € a month or 50 € per year)

This new pricing scheme is intended to address the longstanding concerns of the commercial viability of the EPOCA blog while ensuring continuous delivery of useful and timely information on ocean acidification.
