The Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of Kiel (IFM-GEOMAR) is offering a 1.5-year PostDoc position

The Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of Kiel (IFM-GEOMAR) is offering a 1.5-year PostDoc position in the research unit Marine Biogeochemical Modelling within the ocean acidification project BIOACID. Topic of the research to be performed on this position is a meta-analyis of ocean acidification experimental and theoretical findings.

Candidates must have a PhD, a strong interest in marine biogeochemical cycles and statistical data/model analysis, interest in the modelling of marine biogeochemical cycles or marine ecosystems, and a strong research and publication record.

The position is initially limited to 1.5 years, beginning March 1, 2011, with possible extension. Salary and social benefits are according to Germany’s public sector TVL 13 scale. The position can be split into part-time positions.
