We are looking for a PMEL federal PI-level observational chemical oceanographer with expertise in collection, calibration, and scientific analysis of carbon data from moorings and other platforms. The position will be at a GS-14 (roughly equivalent to associate professor level in the academic system), depending on qualifications of the applicant. Prospective applicants will be expected to lead moored and other carbon observations at PMEL, contribute carbon cycle and ocean acidification research programs to further NOAA’s mission.
