Ocean experts seek better understanding of Pacific acidification (audio)

Climate scientists and meteorologists studying ocean acidification are trying to get a better grip on its effects in the Pacific.

It’s a key theme of a major scientific meeting in Australia this week – the ‘Pacific Australian Climate Change Science Adaptation Program’ seminar. The scientists attending the meeting want Pacific countries to help them study acidification – not just in the deep oceans but closer to shore.

Presenter: Geraldine Coutts

Speaker: Campbell Cooney, Pacific Correspondent.
