Carol Turley in Cancun: COP16 UN Climate Change Conference 2010 (video)

Dr Carol Turley, from the UK Ocean Acidification Research Programme, Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the European Project on Ocean Acidification (EPOCA), talks about how ocean acidification is the other CO2 problem, when CO2 enters seawater it makes it more acidic and this could impact marine organisms, food chains and ecosystems.

    Carol Turley,
    I am i highschool senior looking to go into a marine studies career after college. So when i was assigned a research project of my own choice in honors advanced chem i choose something that was of interest to me. Your article was among one of several i have read on this topic. i was wondering if it was possible to ask you a few questions about the acidification of the oceans to gain a better understangs of the long term effects and what we can do, or try to do to help.
