Forecasting ocean acidification (audio)

Ivan-NagelkerkenIn under 100 years the world’s oceans will see huge rises in CO2 levels, causing acidification of waters and dramatic changes in habitat and marine life.

Associate Professor Ivan Nagelkerken from the University of Adelaide School of Biological Sciences spoke to The Sound of Science about a recent experiment that has looked at animal behaviour and habitat around CO2 vents to get a forecast of how the marine environment will respond to these changes.
