Event Description
Joan is a marine ecologist/geologist working in a climate modeling center to better understand how coral reefs and other marine ecosystems are affected by changes in the Earth’s atmosphere and climate. She is a Leopold Leadership fellow who has testified before Congress and written on marine ecology and ocean acidification for diverse audiences.
