The R package seacarb has just been updated to include a new function (“oa”) which describes the various approaches that can be used to alter the seawater carbonate system. Its main purpose is to assist the design of ocean acidification perturbation experiments.
seacarb is an R package that calculates parameters of the seawater carbonate system. It can be downloaded from the R program or from CRAN. A documentation file is included in the package.
