A session on the “Consequences of Acidification of Land and Ocean” will be organized at the meeting “Climate Change: Global Risks, Challenges and Decisions”, 10-12 March 2009 in Copenhagen. It will be chaired by Mary Scholes and Carol Turley.
The purpose of the conference is to try and capture some of the enormous research energy currently being devoted to the elucidation, mitigation and adaption to climate change. A summary for policy makers will be produced from this meeting for the COP15. It is a real opportunity to get “ocean acidification” into this round of climate negotiations.
