2016 Mares Conference: Abstract submission has reopened for researchers from countries eligible to receive IAEA support working on ocean acidification

New deadline for abstract submission: 19 November 2015!

The MARES Consortium, EuroMarine Network and International Atomic Energy Agency Ocean Acidification International Coordination Centre (IAEA OA-ICC) are pleased to announce that the abstract submissions have reopened for researchers from countries eligible to receive IAEA support working on ocean acidification.

The Mares Conference, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, invites abstracts within the scope of ocean acidification for the conference session ‘Future Oceans’. Financial support towards travel, accommodation and subsistence (not including registration fees) will be provided by the IAEA OA-ICC for researchers from countries eligible to receive IAEA support presenting their work on ocean acidification and whose abstracts are selected, please contact IAEA OA-ICC organisers for details. As the scientific programme is already largely decided, we are currently only accepting abstracts for poster presentations or digital objects.

Please submit your abstract by the 19th November 2015 using the online webform. Please note that only abstracts from researchers from countries eligible to receive IAEA support working on ocean acidification can be reviewed. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Mares Conference Scientific Committee and authors notified of abstract acceptance or rejection by the 26th November 2015.

Before any submission, please read the Mares Conference Abstract Submission Guidelines observing the revised dates outlined above.

Please note that:

Eligibility to receive financial support will be reviewed by the IAEA OA-ICC, please email OAICC.Contact-Point(at)iaea.org (link sends e-mail) to check your eligibility. Abstracts should be submitted online via the Mares Conference website before the 19th November 2015. Only abstracts received by that date will be accepted. The submission of an abstract does not require any registration to the conference, however, if an abstract is accepted the presenting author will need to register for the conference.

For any questions regarding abstract submission please contact the Mares Conference Coordination Office
