Report of the Joint OSPAR/ICES Ocean Acidification Study Group (SGOA)

The third and final meeting was hosted by the ICES Secretariat in Copenhagen, Denmark from 6–9 October 2014. It was attended by 25 scientists representing eleven countries, AMAP and the ICES DataCentre. The objective of the meeting was to address the Study Group’s eight terms of refer-ence (ToRs) as set for the group by OPSAR and to prepare a final consolidated report addressing these ToR. The SGOA also discussed the potential future place for OA within ICES. The consen-sus of the group was that a Working Group on Ocean Acidification should be formed.
